Showing the Jesus
film spoken in Swahili in Olmekenyu:
KMO 2005
|
|

|
| |
The setup of
the film: portable generator run on gasoline, projector, DVD
player,
and a sheet hung on ropes between poles. The plan was for it to
be shown nightly. |

Suddenly the bulb
on the video projector burned out. However the crowd still
listened to the film on loud speakers but watching from a 9
inch screen on the portable DVD player. |

When the film was
over, Megan Sealey, Sheila Laird and Dr. Williams spoke to the
gathering, invited them to come to know Jesus as their Lord
and Savior that night. Over 100 raised their hands to receive
Jesus in Olmekenyu that night. |

The Tembea
Na Yesu team stands around the Missionary of the Mara, Pastor
Joseph Kipai, who has just completed the Tembea Na Yesu walk
in Figtree. He travels via bicycle over the entire Maasi Mara.
His mission is to carry the Jesus film to all corners of
Kenya. If you wish to donate to support Joseph as he gathers
support for motorized transportation, a film projector and a
DVD player, you may contact Dr. Williams at KMO. |
