Morijo Church 2002

Gilbert and the pastors of Morijo African Inland Church

Gilbert gave a rousing sermon and did much Bible teaching

Tabula greeted us warmly and gave quite a testimonial at the church service about her successful healing from her first surgery that we assisted her in getting on our first mission visit to Morijo in 2001. The team had donated to a fund to get her surgical care at Kijabe Hospital.

You can see that the upper jaw bone tumor was quite large even in 1996, the date of issue of this I.D.

This is how the tumor appeared in June of 2001

Here she is in June 2002 after the surgery. She's thanking Sheila for being a part of the team that helped her last year.

There is still work to do at Kijabe Hospital. She is scheduled to have a second surgery that is already paid for. We're looking forward to seeing her in 2003 once again.

The 10/40 Window is an area stretching from 10° to 40° north of the equator from West Africa to East Asia. Did you know that 90 percent of all unreached people groups live in this region of the world? The 10/40 Window is identified as having less than 2 percent of their populations as evangelical Christians.
