 2006

Our team divided into groups and attended several churches on Sunday in Morijo.

Francis Kipai is a rising star for evangelism, hopes to attend seminary in Kenya soon. He is looking for sponsors for his training. He delivers a powerful message as the lay leader of his church. Anyone looking to be involved in sponsorship should contact Dr. Williams at Kenya Medical Outreach. Francis is pastoring three churches near Morijo currently.

The local government liaison in Morijo points out the statistics of the region as it relates to economics, employment and demographics.

The totals show that less than one third of school age children attend school and out of a population of 3612 only 40 have waged employment. This is an average of 4 people per village.

The 10/40 Window is an area stretching from 10° to 40° north of the equator from West Africa to East Asia. Did you know that 90 percent of all unreached people groups live in this region of the world? The 10/40 Window is identified as having less than 2 percent of their populations as evangelical Christians.
