The People of Olmekenyu 2006

Most of the people of Olmekenyu are Kipsigi.
Here they wait in line for food bags we brought.

In all 2000 bags of rice and beans were given out in Olemekenyu

Flies are very common...

The children of the school are well behaved.

One long line to see the doctors

Carrying water home

The kids love to play and clown with the visitors from the USA

We were entertained
with song
and
recitals of
poetry by
the older
students.

Derrick Skelton made fast friends with the kids at each school.

Historically, one out of
ten have indicated a decision to receive Christ as a direct result of seeing the "JESUS" film.

The 10/40 Window is an area stretching from 10° to 40° north of the equator from West Africa to East Asia. Did you know that 90 percent of all unreached people groups live in this region of the world? The 10/40 Window is identified as having less than 2 percent of their populations as evangelical Christians.
