Digital Imaging:
State of the art computer imaging allows us to instantly record your dental and facial appearance.
Computerized Analysis:
For the more complex case, we employ
computerized mandibular scanning, electromyography, and sonography. A
neuromuscular bite registration can accurately determine the exact ideal
placement of the jaw and teeth when they are in their most compatible muscle
resting position.
Mounted Models:
Plaster models of your teeth can be mounted on an articulator, a precision instrument that relates your teeth to the jaw joints. This allows detailed analysis of your bite and uncovers occlusal discrepancies that cannot be detected with "hand held" models.
Corrected Tomograms:
Once available only in hospitals, these specialized
X-ray machines permit imaging a thin "slice" of a structure deep within the body
for a clear view without other structures superimposed.
Sterilization:
Our environment meets standards in sterilization and asepsis
required by the State of Georgia Board of Dentistry, assuring your safety while undergoing orthodontic treatment. Our sterilizers are monitored and
tested.
