Patti is our second Restored
Image makeover patient. She has risen up from severe hardship to become the
owner of her own floral and gift basket business as well as a Prayer
Minister for the Healing Rooms at Sugar Hill. One of the reasons we chose
Patty as our extreme makeover candidate was because of the significant
difference she is making in the lives of others in her Prayer Ministry.
|
What a gorgeous smile and
what a happy patient now that she has completed all of her dental phase of the Restored Image
Extreme Makeover! Now, wherever Patti goes, the magnificence of the Lord is
magnified by the radiance of her new smile as it always was by her gleeful
eyes, her indomitable spirit and her steadfast faith in our Lord, Christ
Jesus. |
 |
 |
|
Patti's smile was checkered and
distracting. She has an effervescent personality and did not let her smile
outwardly bother her, but she told us that inwardly she was very
self-conscious about smiling in public. |
What a smile! |

The bite: front view...the over
bite and overjet are normal but the gingival contours are out of balance as
is the color match between the porcelain crowns, the composite bondings and
the natural enamel of the untreated teeth. |
The bite: with teeth |

|
The bite: right side...Many
areas of decay are evident from the long overdue dental needs. |
The bite: with teeth |

|
The bite: left side...not a bad
bite but the thinness of the enamel over the upper silver-mercury fillings
is evident by the show-through of the grey along the periphery. |

Each posterior tooth was
severely compromised by the large, failing restorations, cracks in the
enamel and dental caries. |

Notice the many old, dark,
silver-mercury fillings which undermined the cusps of the molars and
bicuspids |

transitional anterior crowns before Dr. Williams completed his incisal edge
recontouring and leveling of the plane of occlusion. Reviewing this
photograph taken with our digital camera allowed us to notice the slight
irregular contour of the front four teeth to the horizontal plane. Slight
alterations make a major difference in the end result. |
confidence to face the world in
her daily business with the public. The light of the Lord shines through her
smile as she lights up the room every Monday night at the Healing Rooms at
Sugar Hill. Patti wants all to know that the Healing Rooms at Sugar Hill are
free to anyone and that the ministers will pray for emotional, spiritual and
physical healing in the power of the Holy Spirit. |

|
Now Patti has a smile that is
symmetrical and color-balanced, even though they are still in the temporary
phase of her makeover. Dr. Williams sculpted these "freehanded" at chair
side from the molds taken of her original teeth. |

Patti's friend, Sheila Williams, sees her for the
first time the day of her "new teeth"--the transitional crowns for
the appearance phase of her "smile makeover" ! |

|
Dr. Williams joins Patti with a
gorgeous smile as she is leaving the office on her first big
appointment looking like a million dollars just three hours after
beginning the makeover! |

Keating Dental Arts Lab created
all of the crown & bridge dentistry for Patti as a
charitable donation and was an important part of the Restored Image team.
